What this covers

The FinPlanner name, the source code, the interface design, and the written content of this site are the property of FinPlanner and protected by copyright. You may not copy, republish or redistribute them without permission.

Using the app is not a transfer of any of that. You get to use FinPlanner; you don’t get ownership of it.

Your data is not covered by this

Nothing above applies to what you put in. Your statements, transactions, budgets and goals are yours. Uploading a statement does not hand over any ownership of it. FinPlanner stores and processes that data to show it back to you, and for no other purpose — it is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising.

Some statement formats can only be read by sending the file to an AI reader. That happens for parsing, when no built-in parser recognises the format, and for nothing else. The full, specific list of what’s collected and who it’s shared with lives in the Privacy Policy, not repeated here.
