Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 22 September 2026.
What you’re buying
FinPlanner Pro is ₹499, paid once, through Razorpay. It unlocks the Gmail connector on your account for 12 months from the date the payment succeeds.
There is nothing to cancel
This is not a subscription. It is a single purchase, and nothing about it recurs: no card is kept on file by FinPlanner, no future charge is scheduled, and no auto-renewal exists to turn off. When the 12 months end, the Gmail connector simply stops working until you buy Pro again — you won’t be charged automatically, and you won’t need to “cancel” anything to prevent that.
Refunds
If you want a refund within 7 days of paying, and you haven’t connected Gmail with the Pro access you bought, ask via the contact page and I’ll refund the full ₹499 through Razorpay, back to your original payment method. Past that window, or after you’ve used the Gmail connector, I’ll look at requests case by case rather than refuse them outright — explain what happened and I’ll be reasonable about it.
One case is refunded automatically, no explanation needed: if a payment goes through but your account doesn’t actually get upgraded to Pro. That is a bug, not a use of the service, and you shouldn’t have to argue for your money back over it.
How a refund is processed
By hand, through Razorpay’s dashboard — there’s no self-serve refund button in the app itself yet. Once approved it typically lands back on your original payment method within 5–7 business days, which is Razorpay’s own timeline, not something FinPlanner controls.
Failed or unclear payments
If money left your account and you’re not sure whether it reached FinPlanner — a timeout, a double charge, anything that looks wrong — tell me with the date and amount. I’d rather sort out an odd payment than have you wonder about it.
